to all visitors that - perhaps for the first time come to discover, through this site, the Polesine
Land between two rivers, a place still to be discovered in its entirety but rich of so many facets that make it attractive and intriguing to the traveller.
Through this site we wish to present the province of Rovigo to those looking for a particular destination for their vacations or to stay somewhere different from the usual tourist destinations; here, in Polesine, there is nothing to be taken for granted and there is the charm of continuous discovery. Firstly we should note that water is the dominant element; the waterways are an important part of the history of this territory, adding that extra something that makes this land unique. The sea, but also the rivers, channels, a whole network of "waters" are the vital nourishment of the land. Here Nature has done extraordinary things and there are also artistic and architectural treasures to enchant the most attentive visitor, who treads the more unusual routes and where the wonderful “effort” of discovery is easily repaid. And then the Polesine fuels one’s curiosity, motor of the best discoveries and the most memorable emotions. We hope to succeed in making you love this land as we do. We offer it to you from the heart, sure that will give you those things that enrich the spirit: colours, inspiration and the great or small treasures that enchant the traveller.
